Why oak?

Grading

Grading shapes the overall look of your floor, whether you prefer a clean, refined feel or visible knots and variation. We offer three options so you can choose how much character your timber should show.

Select

Our cleanest grade, minimal knots, uniform grain, and a refined, modern look.

Nature

A mostly clean appearance with just enough movement to keep it interesting.

Classic

A balanced, natural appearance with some knots and variation for added warmth and character.

Character

Full of life and texture, embracing natural knots, grain movement, and tonal variation for a more rustic, organic feel.

Smoked oak – colour to the core

Smoking draws out the oak’s natural depth and variation by exposing it to ammonia vapour, which reacts with tannins in the wood. Unlike staining, smoking changes the timber itself, giving rich, earthy tones that enhance the grain rather than hide it.

We offer three levels of smoked oak, light, medium, and deep, each delivering a different feel and atmosphere.

Light

Subtle warmth, naturally elegant.

Medium

Balanced, warm, and full of depth.

Deep

Rich, bold, and full of character.

Surface Finishes

Once the structure is complete, our boards are finished in one of two high-performance finish systems, each chosen to enhance the natural beauty of oak in a distinct way while protecting it from daily wear.

Basica UV Lacquer

A subtle, protective finish with just the right amount of sheen, strong enough for everyday life, without looking artificial or feeling high-maintenance.

Moderno UV Oil

Enhances timber’s natural appearance with a matte, low-sheen finish that highlights grain and texture while providing everyday protection.

Formats

Our oak boards are available in a range of widths and lengths to suit different proportions and interior styles, from narrow and elegant to wider, more expansive formats.

Narrow

W: 150mm
L: 1650-2500mm

Medium

W: 200-250mm
L: 1750-2400mm

Wide

W: 300-400mm
L: 1500-3500mm

Construction

Each board is made with a European oak lamella cold pressed onto 100% birch plywood using water-boil-proof adhesive. This method gives lasting strength, reduces movement, and ensures performance over time.

Patterns

Available in three classic formats – plank, herringbone, and chevron. Each pattern is designed to create interest through geometry and composition.

Plank

Linear and refined. Creates spatial flow and visual length across a room.

Chevron

Angular and precise. Introduces direction and a sense of movement through a space.

Herringbone

Timeless and structured. Creates visual interest and geometric definition within a space.
